The paint contracting and glass company performed work on both residential and commercial projects. In 1935, F.X. Dickert's son, P.J., joined the firm as a painter. He left for the Philippines to serve the company's country in WWII, and then returned to KD after the war. Henry Klein's son Joseph, (Joe), joined the firm in 1946 after obtaining a deg... ree in mechanical engineering from the University of Madison and a masters degree from the Chrysler Institute of Engineering. The company incorporated in 1948 to become Klein-Dickert Co., Inc . P.J. and Joe assumed management of Klein-Dickert in 1961, shortly after Henry Klein's death. P.J. retired in 1994 and F.X. and Susan Dickert began leadership of the Company . In 2017, FX Dickert and Susan Dickert retired, transitioning the business to Ryan Fuhrmann and the 4th generation of Dickerts, who are looking forward to the next 100 years!
