Founded in 1994 by Kari Carter, Impact Dance of Atlanta is an excellent, Christian-based dance and performing arts education and training facility dedicated to the mission of "Impacting Lives One Dance At A Time". At Impact we are serious about training dancers in the art of ballet, jazz, tap,... pointe, hip-hop, lyrical, modern, contemporary, musical theatre, tumbling and ballroom; performers in the art of acting, singing, and music. and everyone in the area of fitness through Zumba and Pilates. HOW IS IMPACT DIFFERENT? Not only are we serious about the quality of your training, we allow our students and instructors the freedom to express their faith through the talent God has given them. You won't find suggestive costumes, provocative moves, or trashy music. You and your children deserve better than that. I personally believe that God creates dancers, musicians, painters, singers, and actors. What you do with your talent is your choice, but your talent is a gift from God. Impact Dance of Atlanta is dedicated to providing dancers and performers with a training facility which will equip them to pursue professional careers, or simply explore the arts for fun and fitness. WHY IS THAT SO IMPORTANT TO YOU? At Impact Dance of Atlanta we have trained many dancers who have gone directly from our studio to professional careers in either performing or teaching, and we have done so for 22 years! These Impact Dance Alumnus enjoy professional careers with very prestigious companies such as Miami City Ballet, Ballet Magnificat!, Atlanta Lyric Theatre, just to name a few. We have alumni who have been awarded very lucrative scholarships to national universities such as University of Alabama and Kennesaw State University.
