The mission of Mary Ann Morse Healthcare Corp., the parent organization to Heritage at Framingham, is to enhance the quality of life of its residents through the provision of the highest quality skilled nursing, rehabilitative, restorative and assisted living services and to lend comfort and support to families. Who Was Mary Ann Morse? The town of Natick was actually home to two unrelated women named Mary Ann Morse. The first Mary Ann Morse left her whole estate to establish a library. The Morse Institute Library is named in her honor. The other Mary Ann Morse is the woman for whom our organization is named. She was born Mary Ann Stone, and she married a local businessman and blacksmith, Leonard Morse. The couple didn't have any children. At the time of her death in 1891, Mary Ann left her entire estate (Mr. Morse had died in 1888) to the town for the purpose of establishing a hospital.
