Formed in 2012 by founders of Cavallo Energy and EnergyGen Capital, we have a long history of developing projects with the financial resources, industry contacts, and strategic insights necessary to maximize growth and shareholder return. Our generation subsidiary, FirstPower Energy Texas LLC, is developing battery energy storage (BESS) projects under a December, 2014 joint venture with FirstCharge Energy LLC. Projects will be announced in early 2017. Additionally, FirstPower Energy Texas LLC is developing a proprietary 10 MWe combined cooling and power (CCP) plant using proven technology. Designed to reduce datacenter PUEs to 1.28, we are currently developing several projects for commercial startup in summer 2017. The first CCP plant will be built within the Pflugerville Economic Development Corporation's (PCDC) 130Commerce Energy Park, a 160-acre development in North Austin, Texas. Our fuels subsidiary, FirstFuels LLC, is developing proprietary 15 million gallons per year gas-to-liquids (GTL) plants in the US using proven technology. The first plant will be built within the existing natural gas storage facilities of MidWest Energy near Terre Haute, IN. The plant will access low cost natural gas shale in the Indiana basin.
