Colonial Country Club

The Colonial Country Club Community Development District (CDD) was established under Chapter 190 of the Florida State Statutes and provides for governence by a five member Board of Supervisors. The District was established in 2002 and was totally built out by turnover from the developers (Pulte) in 2008. The CDD community consists of 1,835 mixed re... sidential units consisting of both multi-family and single family units. The CDD has the responsibility for the storm water management system which consists of the lakes and preserves. The Colonial Country Club Community Development District (CDD) provides local governmental services and built and maintains the public infrastructure except for the sewer and potable water systems which were dedicated to the City of Fort Myers when completed. Colonial CDD manages 37 lakes and +/- 160 acres of preserve. The Colonial Country Club CDD consists of two communities. Colonial Country Club is a beautiful gated golf course community located off of Colonial Blvd., East of I-75 in Lee County, Florida. Colonial Country Club is a planned community of 1,699 residents and all developer involvement was completed in 2008. In addition, the Colonial Country Club Master Association provides an 18-hole championship golf course, a clubhouse with fitness center, swimming pool and tennis courts for the residents. Whispering Palms is the other gated community involved in the CDD. It is a lovely multi-family planned community consisting of 136 residents. Amenities such as a swimming pool is provided.
