Today, 3N is developing multi-family projects on the Austin highway corridor, in downtown San Antonio and in the SoFlo district. 3N focuses on quality construction, good design and a carefully curated living experience melding work, home and play. Guillermo has been focused on San Antonio for over 25 years and has focused on art and literacy. He is... an avid contemporary art collector. He is past-chairman of the San Antonio Public Library Foundation and a member of the board of the College of Communications at the University of Texas at Austin. He is Vice Chairman of the San Antonio's Public Art Board and a new Board member of the Texas Cultural Trust. He was honored by the Ford Foundation in 2007 for his efforts in education. Guillermo was named Literacy Volunteer of the year by the Texas Commission on Literacy for 2009. He was most recently honored by The Blue Star Contemporary Art Center as Contemporary Art Patron of the Year, 2011. Guillermo's Grandfather, Raoul Cortez was the pioneer of Spanish language radio and television in the U.S. (1946 & 1955 respectively) His Father, Emilio, Sr., along with two partners, built what is now Univision, the largest Spanish language television network and the first satellite interconnected network in the country opening doors for millions of Hispanics in the United States.
