1UP Industries is an innovation studio, independent software developer, and technical/UX consulting-firm-of-one powered by founder Jeff Bargmann. From installing sod onto his 4x8 Ann Arbor, Michigan balcony to combining technology in creative and unique ways, Jeff has always had a passion for practical innovation. Through his career, Jeff has creat... ed products that have reached over 10 million downloads and have shipped pre-installed on tens of millions of computers sold by Dell and HP. Examples of his work include the acclaimed icon organizer Fences, and the animated dock programs ObjectDock and the Dell Dock. All brought together by teamwork, this success was enabled by working with others, including the software publisher Stardock Corporation. Through his career Jeff was also the project lead for the 'Impulse' games digital-distribution platform, and was responsible for its user experience as well as overall software architecture. Impulse was sold to video game retailer GameStop in 2011. Continually seeking growth, Jeff is currently earning his MBA from the University of Michigan in his evenings, and had received his BS in Computer Science from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 2006.
