14 Peaks was started in 2017, when the Nixon and Lopez families decided to buy a small farm in Hartsel, Colorado and register with Colorados Dept. of Agriculture this allowed us to comply with all regulations for growing hemp. Michael uses his talents to oversee the production process and ensure the product is stable and consistent. Furthermore, we as a company are committed to using organic products and no harsh pesticides. Our first intent was to only grow clones and seeds for commerce. However, as we began, our curiosity into the benefits of oils and salves was piqued. During the first harvest, we set some plants aside to craft artisanal oils and salves in an attempt to alleviate pain from torn muscle injuries and to get some relief from day to day anxiety and stress. We found our products to be very successful and decided to share our success with you. We had our oil tested by The Good Lab and they informed us that our oil passed all state and federal regulations for CBD. They were impressed at our rigor in making sure that we had only 2 ingredients in our product: CBD and MCT Oil. As a family owned company, we are aware of the challenges each generation faces from grandkids to great-grandparents; the headaches from schoolwork, the stresses that come from raising children or the chronic aches and pains of simply getting older that experience allows us to tailor our products to help others in their daily challenges.
