Established in 2014. 109 & Co. is located in downtown Little Rock, Arkansas and is locally owned & operated. Our bar program focuses on our custom signature cocktails made in a classic fashion such as the Decatur, Cardinal, North St. POV, Death by Midnight, and over 30 others as well as the Classics such as the Boulevardier, Corpse Reviver, Whiskey... Smash, Vieux Carré, and more. We're sometimes called a modern-day speakeasy, not because of a secret entrance (because there isn't one, although it's certainly not too noticeable) but instead because we focus on craft cocktails made in a classic manner in a darker, low key, intimate, yet still vibrant and exciting environment. We're not a franchise and we're locally owned & operated which has allowed us to stay focused on what we feel is most important: great service and great cocktails. 109 & Co. began when former Owner & Bar Director, Michael Peace, opened Maduro Cigar Bar & Lounge at 109 Main Street in February of 2012. After almost 3 great years, he decided to go in a new direction as a non-smoking modern day speakeasy to focus more on the cocktails and growing bar program. To accomplish this, he transformed Maduro into 109 & Co., opening on Dec 5th 2014, the 81st anniversary of the 21st Amendment, which repealed prohibition.
