The scope of services we provide includes fire suppression, fire prevention/code enforcement, fire and life safety education, advanced life support emergency medical services, emergency management, hazardous materials and technical rescue response, and a multitude of public assistance and other services. The Hanover Fire Department is a "Combinatio... n Department" made up of career (full-time) firefighters and on-call firefighters. The department currently consists of a Chief, a Deputy Chief, a Fire Prevention Captain, four shift captains, twenty-two career firefighters, fourteen on-call firefighters, and a civilian executive assistant. Career firefighters are organized into four groups that work 24/7/365 and are cross-trained to provide both fire and emergency medical services. We operate out of two stations: Headquarters, located at 32 Center Street, which is staffed 24 hours/day; and Station 3, which is located at 925 Circuit Street.
