Recognized by the OSAA were Mr. Karl Raschkes, the Salem-Keizer School District music supervisor, and Mr. Ben Brooks, the orchestra director at Reynolds HS.
Raschkes is largely credited with building one of the most widely regarded public high school music programs in the country (at least outside of Texas). Brooks leaves after 38 years of dedication and success in Troutdale.
