Walid Michelen

Dr. Michelen has a varied career in medical care, medical management and population health. He was a PCP at Segundo Ruiz Belvis Health Center, the Director of the residency program for the Internal Medicine department at Bronx Lebanon Hospital, medical director of North Central Bronx Hospital, Chief Medical Officer of NYC Health and Hospitals Corpo... ration, Executive Director of MetroPlus. He was the Vice President for Community Health and Ambulatory Care at NY Presbyterian Hospital, Chief of Staff of the Generation Plus Network, Executive and Chief Medical Director of Gotham Health, a city wide health network. Since 2018 he is the Chief Medical Officer and Senior Vice President for ArchCare, the Archdiocese of New York’s health network for seniors. Dr. Michelen is and has been involved in community organizations. He was the Chair for many years of Alianza Dominicana, the largest Dominican organization in this country. He is the chair of the Nasry Michelen Daycare Center and a board member of the Clinical Director’s Network and the Nasry Michelen Foundation.
