Veronica Parrales - Cello
Veronica Parrales, DMA Rutgers University, is an accomplished performer and experienced teacher in the tri-state area. As a Suzuki educator she has trained at School for Strings, Suzuki on the Green, with violinist Mark O'Connor, and many other renowned pedagogues. Ms. Parrales is a highly sought after teaching artist specializing in serving outreach programs in urban communities. She has taught for New Jersey Symphony's El-Sistema program in Newark, and in public schools for Third Street Music School Settlement's Music Instruction in the Lower East Side. Ms. Parrales recently won the title of Assistant Principal Cello for the Baton Rouge Symphony and continues to pursue an active performance career across the nation. Ms. Parrales has been on the faculty of Mason Gross Extension Division for three years and teaches Suzuki cello, piano, violin, theory, musicianship and improvisation using the Creative Ability Development method.
