Tom Gray, PhD - Tom holds a Ph.D. in rural sociology and has worked in research for the USDA in the areas of co-operative organization, family farms, globalization, and social justice for several years and has published various papers and research monographs in the US and Canada.
He holds degrees from Cornell and Ohio State Universities and has a MSW degree from Catholic University. He practices psychoanalytic psychotherapy at the Washington School of Psychiatry in Northwest DC, and in a small private practice in Silver Spring, Maryland. His specialties include treatment of depression, anxiety, affect phobia, and cognitive-affect-somatic integration, with developing areas in self and relationally informed psychoanalysis and supervision.
