General Manager, Head of Consulting Service As Senior Director, Tina heads up CIC's Research and Consulting department . She is devoted to elevate our research excellence by offering customized services based on brands' and agencies' varying research needs. Tina has a strong passion in helping brands understand and navigate the complex digital landscape in China in the IWOM (internet word of mouth) context. She has been working with marketers from Fortune 500 companies which span across a broad spectrum of industries from beauty, youth, luxury goods, FMCG, food and beverage, to automotive, amongst others. Tina is well versed in IWOM research from distillation of consumer insights to social media campaign ideation and strategy planning. She has a sharp eye to pinpoint cross-industry learnings to inspire marketing communication and strategy planning. Internally she is also devoted to the knowledge management of CIC's IWOM research, upgrade and innovation of our research methodology and models. With an outstanding background in marketing research, Tina joined CIC in November 2009 as Account Director who oversaw our key retainer clients in beauty, youth and luxury categories. Previously she used to work for Oracle Added Value, a brand development and marketing insight agency under WPP Group, during which she spent 6 months in London working at its global headquarters. Before that she was with TNS, specializing in qualitative research. Tina is an English major and a certified advanced interpreter with strong bilingual proficiency. She is also a candidate of the BI Norwegian School of Management - Fudan University MBA Program. Outside work Tina loves photography, traveling, hiking, cooking, badminton, parks and gardens, museums and galleries, and playing Angry Birds on her iPhone.
