Tom Bowen founded New Chicago Consulting after more than a decade of experience in some of the top races across the country.
He focuses primarily on management, communications, and public affairs. He has managed six political campaigns ranging from the Chicago City Council to U.S. Senate, and has worked and consulted on dozens of federal and local races across the country, including the 2008 presidential campaign for Barack Obama. In 2011, he served as Deputy Campaign Manager for Mayor Rahm Emanuel and later established and ran his Political Action Committee. He also serves as a senior advisor to Mac Strategies Group where he handles public affairs projects.

Bowen launched his career in politics as a press aide to then State Senator Barack Obama working under communications director Robert Gibbs. Tom earned his Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Illinois Wesleyan University and currently lives in the West Loop neighborhood of Chicago with his wife Aviva.
