Following the meeting Terry Larson of Larson-Danielson Construction Co. said Alliance investors are working on finding tenants for the light industrial/commercial park that may include retail and a condominium component.
"That's not set in stone." It's too early, he added, to speculate on the number of buildings or square footage of industrial/commercial space that would become available. Larson currently is working on finding tenants for the business center; after uses are identified, platting can begin. He noted there's certainly interest from prospects about being part of the project, but that doesn't mean groundbreaking would occur next spring. During a concept review in June, commission members expressed serious concern about the CR 950N intersection not having a traffic signal at Indiana 49. Last night Larson said, "That's certainly an issue we're studying because it is an important need for that intersection."
