Weekend Edition: A New Hope in the War on Cash - Casey Research

J. Reeves, editor, The Palm Beach Daily: Teeka, you're one of the first newsletter gurus to recommend specific cryptocurrencies to his subscribers.
What exactly are cryptocurrencies, and why are they becoming such a hot commodity today? Teeka Tiwari, editor, The Palm Beach Letter: Cryptocurrencies are an alternative form of money that cannot be diluted by a central authority. Teeka: The blockchain is the mechanism used to create and keep track of a cryptocurrency. Teeka: Sure. Teeka: First, I will say this, and then I will answer your question... Teeka: Would it be any more "out there" than if I told you in 1998 that Amazon would have a 50% bigger market value than Walmart? Teeka: There is a group of people that were very early adopters of bitcoin. They are known as the "bitcoin millionaires. Teeka: You're welcome. Editor's note: There's another cryptocurrency Teeka loves even more than Bitcoin... and it could be far more disruptive to central bankers' plans. It's a secret "currency alternative" that could let early investors turn every $200 placement into a rare, once-in-a-lifetime return of $6,850. Some people are calling it "Bitcoin 2.0"... and Microsoft, IBM, Samsung, and all the big banks are quietly getting involved. You can claim your free copy of Teeka's "next Bitcoin" report right here.

Teeka Tiwari
Teeka Tiwari Teeka Tiwari is the co-editor of The Palm Beach Letter. He epitomizes the American dream. Growing up in the foster care system in the United Kingdom, Teeka came to the United States at age 16 with just $150 in his pocket and the clothes on his back. By 18, he had become the youngest employee at Lehman Brothers. Two years later, he shattered convention by becoming the youngest vice president in the history of Shearson Lehman. In 1998, he made a small fortune going short during the Asian crisis. But then, he "got greedy" (in his own words) and hung on for too long. Within a three-week time span, he lost all he had made-and everything else he owned. He was ultimately compelled to file personal bankruptcy. Two years after losing everything, Teeka rebuilt his wealth from the markets and went on to launch a successful hedge fund. After these events, he developed a newfound appreciation for risk. He made risk management his No. 1 priority. Now a retired hedge fund manager, Teeka's personal mission is to help teach individual investors how to grow their money safely. Teeka has been a regular contributor to the FOX Business Network and has appeared on FOX News Channel, CNBC, ABC's Nightline, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, and international television networks.
