Tali Roth / Classical Guitar
One of the world leading and most charismatic guitarists, Tali Roth is Head of the Juilliard School Pre-College Guitae program and is an adjunct professor at NYU. She has presented master classes throughout the world and taught at the Aspen music festival. Classical Guitar magazine hailed her "an extra ordinary solo and chamber musician" and The NY Times "a marvelous classical Guitarist". Her recent engagement include recording all the Classical Guitar sound tracks for the Woody Allen film "you will meet a tall dark stranger" released in 2010. Since her Carnegie Hall debut she has performed as a soloist throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, Latin America, Japan and her native Israel, appearing ins such venues as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall (with violinist Midori), the Alvin Ailey theatre with Douglas Dunn and Dancers in the 92nd St Y Harkness Dance Festival, Rose Hall Home of Jazz at Lincoln Center with Grammy Nominee Flutist Carol Wincenc, the Caremoor Center, the Aspen Music Festival, the Tel Aviv Henry Crown Hall, Teatro Presidente in San Salvad or with El Salvador Philharmonic, Teatro Solis in Uruguay with Glamourtango, Haiyuza Theatre in Tokyo with Flamenco Komatsubara and Silvia Duran dance companies, Suzanne Dellal Center and in Merkin Hall, Lincoln Center with members of Israel and NY Philharmonics. Ms. Roth has performed on stage in the New York Off-Broadway musical production of Nobel Prize Laureate Derek Walcott's The Odyssey and by invitation for the U.N. in Washington for dignitaries such as former Prime Minister Shimon Peres, Prime Minister Ehud Barak, and General Colin Powell. Ms. Roth holds a BM from the Jerusalem Rubin Ms. Roth is A Savarez Artist.

She has studied and trained in Jerusalem, Italy, Germany and the United States. Tali currently heads the guitar program on the faculty of the Juilliard School's Pre-College Division. She is also an adjunct professor at NYU. She has performed as a soloist throughout the United States, Europe, Latin American, and her native Israel. Ms. Roth has been hailed by Classical Guitar magazine as "an extraordinary solo and chamber musician," and has performed with flutist Carol Wincenc and members of the New York Philharmonic. Outside of the concert hall, Ms. Roth has performed onstage in the New York City Off-Broadway production of Nobel Prize Laureate Derek Walcott's The Odyssey. She was also invited to perform for a United Nations gathering in Washington, D.C., a private event that included among its dignitaries former Prime Minister Shimon Peres, then-Prime Minister Ehud Barak and General Colin Powell. Most recently, she provided all of the classical guitar music for the sound track of Woody Allen's 2010 film, You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger. Ms. Roth holds a Bachelor's degree from Israel's Rubin Academy of Music (now The Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance) and a Master of Music degree from The Juilliard School. She won Top Prize in all categories at the Twenty-Third Masterplayers Music and Conductors Competition in Switzerland, as well as the New York Artist International Competition Award. Herself a devoted and inspiring teacher, Ms. Roth has conducted masterclasses throughout the world and taught at the Aspen Music Festival. Tali Roth is an official Savarez Artist, is represented by Parker Artists, and performs on a guitar crafted by Stephan Connor.
