Staff Profile - Suzanne Brangwin
Deputy Manager, Biosecurity Suzanne Brangwin has recently joined UniQuest's International Projects Team as the Deputy Manager for Biosecurity. She will be primarily working on the NZAID-funded project to strengthen Phytosanitary capacity in Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar and Vietnam in order to improve access to agricultural export markets. Suzanne holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Horticultural Technology) (Hons) from the University of Queensland and a Post Graduate Certificate in Public Policy. Her principal professional experience has been with Quarantine Services on both sides of the Tasman, most recently as a Technical Manager with the New Zealand Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry Quarantine Service. dec07_profile Suzanne Brangwin, Deputy Manager, Biosecurity Suzanne has also worked in Samoa as a Quarantine Adviser within the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Forestry and Meteorology and in Tokelau where she assisted with a research project to control an invasive ant species on two of the three atolls. Suzanne's career commenced with the Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service where she worked initially as an inspector and subsequently as a policy officer.
