Sean PetrieSean PetrieLibrarianSean PetrieLibrarianPhone: 07 4745 4521Fax: 07 4749 5130Sean Petrie commenced employment as Librarian with MICRRH in January 2000.He is from Mt Isa and has returned after a ten year hiatus.Sean has a Bachelors Degree in Asian Studies from Griffith University and a Graduate Diploma In Information Science from Edith Cowan University.He is a member of the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA).His interests include history, politics and public policy, and literature. As Librarian, Sean's role is to support the information needs of those working or studying within the health sector in the Mount Isa Health District.This role includes assisting in the identification and aquisition of appropriate and relevent information resources and managing these resources to provide optimal access by clients.Sean is examining a number of areas to further enhance access including increased reader education and the acquisition of a range of electronic resources accessible throughout the district.
