"It's an incredible act of God that it came together the way it did," said Scott Williams, the center's clinical director who is overseeing Cela's stay. Williams found out about Cela's story through a college friend who knew Cela's pastor. Williams had a tight schedule for Cela's stay: In the first week, he designed and built the prosthetic legs. During the second week, he would adjust them. Erjola Cela, who works as an English teacher, translated between Cela and Williams. After Williams adjusted the screws and examined the legs, Cela got up on the bars again. Williams took a video on his phone as Cela and his wife talked to each other in Albanian. "You better," Williams said.

Scott Williams, a 1993 graduate of Wylie High School, is part of a revolutionary approach to helping people who have lost limbs.
Williams is the clinical director of the new Dallas location of Scott Sabolich Prosthetics and Research, a company that began in Oklahoma and is changing the effectiveness, function and comfort level of prosthetics for people not only in North Texas, but around the world. Williams says he was "born in Garland but brought home to Wylie," where he lived until his freshman year of college. (His first job was at Taco Delite on Hwy. 78.)
