BBC response to complaint about DJ Sara Cox's twitter comments Published on Friday, July 22, 2011 · Leave a Comment The BBC responded to my complaint about Sara Cox's comments towards subtitles being shown at an English language screening of Bridemaids. It arrived at just after midnight this morning. TO recap Sara asked for a discount because there were subtitles, wanted to put gaffa tape over her glasses to cover them up and told those who found her comments about subtitled screenings offensive were 'gob******'. She has apologised through her agent (as reported in the Telegraph) but not on twitter to the many people she upset. I understand that you were unhappy with comments made on Twitter by Sara Cox regarding subtitled films as you found them to be offensive. We can't comment on Sara Cox's messages on her own personal Twitter account.
