Secretary Richard P. TetraultChairman Ray Evans, Secretary Bob Yates, President Harry Jaeger, Judge Advocate Ralph Smith, Chaplain Ken Maddox, Webmaster 'Tom' Thomas, Historian Rich Tetrault, Former Chairman Wil Swift, Rodger Dana, Herb Reuben, Jack Sweet Historian Rich Tetrault agreed to take the minutes of the meeting. The Minutes of the 2000 NAFTS Board of Directors Meeting, previously handed-out, were accepted unanimously. Historian Rich Tetrault gave a report on the historical items in NAFTS possession.President Jaeger offered to provide transport for the items along with his Ship Stores to the future reunions.A motion was made by Tetrault to send a lump sum $500 to the Navy Relief at each year's end in honor of all NAFTS members who passed away during that year.Yates said that this would be his last year as Secretary and a motion was made by Thomas, seconded by Jaeger that Tetrault be elected as NAFTS Secretary.The role of NAFTS Historian was transferred to Bjornsen to lessen the load on Tetrault , who will become Secretary and also assists at the NAFTS website. Tetrault asked about a mechanism to allow NAFTS to accept donations from members, either through a will or an outright grant.Motion was made by Thomas, seconded by Tetrault to adjourn the meeting and we closed with a prayer from Rev.
