SOUTH CHARLESTON, W.Va. - Dr. Rebecca H. Goodwin, Ed.D., has been named the 2003 recipient of the Edgar L. Morphet Dissertation Award, presented by the National Council of Professors of Education Administration (NCPEA).Dr. Goodwin will receive the Morphet Award and present the findings of her award-winning dissertation, "On the Edge of Chaos: A Delphi Study of the Changing Role of the Secondary Principal," during the NCPEA National Conference, Aug. 5-8, in Sedona, Ariz.Dr. Goodwin is a 2002 graduate of Marshall University's cooperative educational doctorate program with West Virginia University.She is a former Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction for Kanawha County Schools, and currently serves as a part-time faculty member in the Leadership Studies program at the Marshall University Graduate College, South Charleston campus.
