Starting from "Burapha Osoth" drug store in 1957, with a vision to fulfill domestic demand for modern medicine in Thailand with local production, Burapha Dispensary Co., Ltd. was founded by Mr. Panya Buraphacheep, who is the first few businessmen that have been involved at the very beginning of pharmaceutical industry in Thailand. "Burapha Dispensary" back then, a small section of the drug store in Nakornsawan province, was responsible for research and development of modern medicine formulation, and later succeeded in producing the first product for sale in 1963 with only 3 staffs in the production line. With a soaring growth of sales, the company expanded rapidly both in terms of production output and staffs.
