Pastor Randall Black is the vice president of Compassion in Action.
The non profit is trying to raise $20 thousand to build a teen center in the Dominican Republic. Having built 15 buildings in the past five years the group has never missed its goal. It could be thanks to stunts like the one Sunday. "Our friends in Indiana that are going on the trip, they mentioned doing one, they did one in a frozen river in South Bend, and I thought wow," said Black.

Pastor Randall Black is a graduate of Indiana Christian University and North Central Indiana Bible College. Randall also attended Germanna Community College and Virginia Wesleyan College where he studied business administration. Pastor Randall is also the co-founder of Compassion in Action International located in Miami, FL. CIAI does extensive work in Latin America, including Cuba, Dominican Republic, Panama and Uruguay building churches, schools and homes. Randall also wrote the Christian book, "When Reality Hits," turning chaos into character. He has also appeared on TBN, Sky Angel and LeSea Broadcasting. Randall and Lisa have been married for over 20 years and have three beautiful children; Andrew, Courtney and Deborah.

About Mt. Calvary

Pastor Rick Duncan of Cuyahoga Valley Community Church called Rev. Randall Black to plant a new Southern Baptist Church that would serve the community of Warrensville Heights and adjoining southeastern suburbs.
Rev. Black recruited Rev. James Edwards, Sr. and his wife, Corlett to assist him in establishing Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. In November of 1993, Rev. Randall Black resigned as Pastor of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church.
