Phillip Dillon - Senior DesignerEmail: phillip@cubiccreative.comPhillip grew up in the rural community of Sand Springs Oklahoma, a suburb of Tulsa, where he spent his high school years skateboarding, and developed a passion for illustration and art.Phillip studied in the vocational Ad Design program for three years where he won a scholarship to one of the top design programs in the area, Oklahoma State University Tech, located in the small town of Okmulgee, Oklahoma.He began school there in 97, where his focus was on graphic art, fine art and interactive design.Phillips passion for design, art and music found outlets in painting graffiti and scratching records, which is often reflected in Phillips forward thinking design style.His proficiency in these areas, as well his interactive design and burgeoning skills in flash animation and interactive technology led to him becoming one of the most sought after young designers in the region.While in school, Phillip landed a coveted internship at XOR one of the largest advertising and interactive agencies in Oklahoma.Subsequently, he went to work at XOR, a rapidly growing agency, as a graphic designer in their interactive department, where clients he designed for included General Electric, Dallas Arts District, and Phillips Petroleum.In July of 2002, he started at Particle where his role is multi-faceted.He serves as designer for both print and interactive work, as well as illustrator, animator, video editor, and sound expert.
