A Peter A. Reed is the Chief Executive Officer of GEG and GECM, as well as a director of GEG. Mr. Reed is also GEGC’s President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board. Prior to joining Great Elm, Mr. Reed was a Portfolio Manager and Partner at a Boston-based registered investment adviser from 2004 to 2017. From 2002 to 2004, Mr. Reed was an investment banking analyst at Brown, Gibbons, Lang & Company where he worked on mergers and acquisitions, in-court and out-of-court financial restructurings, and debt and equity private placements for middle market companies.
