Penny is the managing partner of HSC Workshops and director of the Management/Leadership Development Division, designed for managers and leaders in government, universities and colleges and nonprofit organizations. She is also presenter of three popular training programs, "The Conversations Managers Don't Want to Have", "Ten Behaviors of Managers Who Excel", and Managing Difficult Employees." Her areas of specialty include change management; team development; and management and executive training. With over 10 years experience as a manager and director, Altman was also a senior development consultant with a Fortune 100 company for another eight years. Penny's taught both graduate and undergraduate university courses in supervision, organizational behavior, management training and communication. She is also co-author of the book, How to Design, Develop, and Market Health Care Seminars. In addition to having taught university level classes and conducted workshops since 1979, she has provided consulting services to numerous schools and school districts. Her areas of expertise include behavior management, home/school communication, teaching children responsibility and adult education. Other areas of specialty include change management, team development and management and executive training. She has over 10 years experience as a nonprofit manager and director and was also a senior development consultant with a Fortune 100 company for eight years. Penny has taught both graduate and undergraduate university courses in supervision, organizational behavior, management training and communication.
