Paul Klouse Paul Klouse Paul grew up in northeastern New Jersey where he enjoyed playing sports and avoiding church. After graduating High School he played football and baseball in college for a few years while maintaining a stunningly low GPA. After his eligibility ran out, he wanted to become a police officer. However, it was during this process that God got a hold of his heart and he was challenged with the gospel and what it looked like to be a 'real man.' A few weeks later, He committed his life to Christ and everything changed. God opened his eyes, his ears, and his heart and gave him a passion for helping people. He began attending and volunteering at Jacksonville Chapel in New Jersey and immediately sensed a calling to ministry and met a great girl named Megan. 6 months later he and Megan got married and moved to Annotto Bay, Jamaica to serve as missionaries for the first 2 years of their marriage. In Jamaica, Paul received his Bachelor's Degree from Moody Bible Institute in Biblical Studies while he and Megan served the local church and had their first daughter, Haley Ruth. From there, they moved to Denver to attend Denver Seminary where Paul earned a M. Div. degree with a Pastoral Counseling emphasis and served as youth pastor to a small Korean church for 3 years. While in seminary his sorority grew and he and Megan had two more daughters, Hannah Marley & Hazel Ann Nesta. Next, Paul was ordained through his home church in New Jersey and moved to Wilmington to do a 1 year chaplain residency program at New Hanover Regional Medical Center where he was the coronary critical care chaplain. Now, he is blessed to be a part of Port City Community Church where he has the privilege to serve Christ and live near the beach. Oh- and early in February of 2013- he and his family welcomed Paul D. Klouse III, into their lives!
