Torrefranca, Project Manager, is a 1968 graduate of the University of Santo Tomas with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.Nitto is a member of the American Society of Heating,Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers.He is also a member of the Filipino American League Of Engineers and Architects and has served as Director and Treasurer from 1996-1999.Nitto started as Engineer in Trainee during the construction of the Multi - Million dollar sugar manufacturing plant project in 1969.Duties and responsibilities are investigation, inspection, quality assurance, initial start-up and final testing of steam boilers and steam turbines.After the turnover of the plant construction he was assigned as Boiler Operating Engineer involving operation and maintenance of two steam generating units rated at 420 psig operating pressures and 130,000 lbs./hr steam evaporation including a demineralizer feedwater treatment plant. He immigrated to the United States in 1973 and has worked to various General Contractors and Plumbing and Mechanical contracting companies prior to joining Continental Mechanical of the Pacific.Nitto's expertise includes estimating , coordinating and managing projects involving Heating, Ventilating, Air Conditioning, Plumbing , Process Piping and general sheetmetal work.He is also certified as Contractor Quality Control engineer with certification from the US ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS.He participated in the design team for the expansion of the multi million dollar Tripler Army Medical Center Project as a mechanical designer and provided mechanical cost estimates of the plumbing and HVAC Systems.
