Q: The priesthood is quick to deny the fact that Nikken shouted at Honorary President Ikeda and President Akiya. I heard comments from the acolytes' teachers that in his first two years as high priest, Nikken didn't have a solid foundation upon which he could initiate new programs for the education of the acolytes. In August 1979, right after Nikken Shonin became high priest, Director Shinryo Isshii was called in from Saga in Kyushu. Q: Are you saying that Nikken is the one who unilaterally destroyed this relationship of trust between Gakkai members and the priesthood? Q: Recently, Nikken insulted the late Narita. As soon as the ceremonies were over, Nikken dismissed the honorary president and the other leaders. To be aware of the baseness of Nikken's actions, yet to share his jealously and join him in attacking the Gakkai, is the lowest form of human behavior.
