Glenn Lundin
Glenn Michael Lundin peacefully passed to eternal life on November 24, 2012, surrounded by his family. He was born November 11, 1944, in St. Paul, Minnesota. This remarkable man brought love every day to his family and friends. He leaves behind his wife of 44 years, Judith(nee Moritz), to whom he brought laughter and caring every day; his treasured son Korey Carl(Martha Maurer); and cherished daughter Courtney Jihl Wyman(Ross). He will be truly missed by his brother Roland(Alice); sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Christi and Rich Foster; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Dennis and Sherry Moritz; his beloved mother-in-law Irene Moritz; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. His sweet dog Madison misses him so much. He felt a special respect and affection for his coworkers at TenCate, who were like a second family to him. Glenn grew up in Chicago and Rhinelander and graduated with the Rhinelander High School class of 1963. He went on to UW-Superior and graduated in 1967. Following graduation, he served as a lieutenant in the United States Air Force, and was assigned the duties of a launch control officer in Great Falls, Montana. While serving in the Air Force, he married Judy on August 17, 1968, at Zion Lutheran Church. Glenn then received his Master's degree from the University of Southern California and returned to Wisconsin in 1971 to begin his long career in the paper industry. He moved back to Rhinelander in 1981, the place which was always close to his heart. He was given the opportunity to travel for work to China, Mexico, throughout Europe, and across the United States. Judy was lucky to accompany him on many of these adventures, and he thoroughly enjoyed visiting customers and contractors abroad. Glenn loved reading, traveling, cooking, and being with his family. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Rhinelander. During his long career he was involved in many paper industry organizations and was the recipient of many industry awards.
