Blodnick is president and chief executive officer of Glacier Bancorp, Inc., an $8.3 billion bank holding company headquartered in Kalispell, Montana, that provides commercial banking services in 80 communities through 121 banking offices in Montana, Idaho, Colorado, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming. Under his leadership, Glacier Bancorp has grown to become the largest banking institution in Montana. Mr. Blodnick brings over 37 years of community banking experience to the Seattle Bank's board and has worked in all facets of the banking business. He began his banking career in 1978 as a line teller for First Federal Savings and Loan, which became Glacier Bank in 1989. In 1990, he was promoted to vice president and treasurer, and in 1993, he was appointed the bank's secretary and elected to the Glacier Bancorp, Inc. Board of Directors. In 1994, he was promoted to executive vice president and the company's president and CEO in 1998. His exceptional performance as president and CEO of Glacier Bancorp, Inc. earned Mr. Blodnick recognition as American Banker's Banker of the Year for 2014. Mr. Blodnick earned a degree in sociology from the University of Montana and has earned degrees from Sheshunoff Professional Master of Banking School, Pacific Coast Banking School, and the Institute of Financial Education. He serves as co-chair for the Kalispell Regional Healthcare Foundation Emergency Services Campaign.
