Mr. Rantapaa joined Dakota Gold as Manager of Black Hills Operations in January of 2021. Mr. Rantapaa brings extensive experience in mineral exploration with a focus on health and safety. He was previously the General Manager of McEwen Mining Inc.’s gold bar operations in Eureka, Nevada, and prior to that he served in leadership roles for both operations and corporate for Barrick Gold Corporation. Mr. Rantapaa holds a Bachelor of Science in Geologic Engineering from the South Dakota School of Mines.Read More
