Bulldog Abrasives was initially established in 1995 to present Mirka as the sole distributor for Abrasives in Sub-Saharan Africa. For more than three decades Mirka has been a leading manufacturer and supplier of abrasives to the automotive manufacturers, automotive refinishing, and composite including marine, the wood and furniture sectors, as well as the metal industry. In 1997 Bulldog Abrasives was acquired by the present management and has since broadened its product range to offer a total solution to end-users i.e. competitively priced quality products, value added service and support of the highest calibre. These solutions were provided to the Automotive Industry and later the Woodworking, Industrial, DIY, Metal and Composite Markets.
