Marilyn Hope, M.L.I.S. (University of Hawaii)
Librarian (PH) (909) 335-8863 ext. 105 (EM) Marilyn Hope Marilyn Hope has served Community Christian College as Librarian since 2000. She received her M.L.I.S. from the University of Hawaii in 1990, after working as an itinerant medical librarian for over ten years for Inland Empire hospital and county libraries. She then worked six years as a Medical Reference Librarian for the Health Sciences Library of the University of Arizona, and served as webmaster in the Information Technology Department of the City of Tucson for two years. She has been greatly influenced by a historical family tradition of conscientious Biblical scholars who had a penchant for developing large personal libraries. Marilyn has had an eclectic interest in accumulating knowledge. She was a science major at Westmont College and U.C. Irvine, then delved into Anthropology at U.C. Riverside, incorporating a major emphasis on the medical and health-related sciences wherever applicable. She also studied music at the University of Redlands and has become a proficient harpist.
