Margaux Morisseau, Director of Community Engagement - 401-762-0993, ext. 233 Margaux Morisseau joined the NWBRV team in 2004 to work in the neighborhood where her family is from and where she served as a City Year AmeriCorps member. Since then, she has advocated for affordable housing, grown the organization's youth programs, increased residents' access to services, developed the AmeriCorps program and more. Margaux has a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from RI College and Certificate in Community Development from Roger Williams University. Margaux is the founding director of the RI chapter of New Leaders Council, and also serves on the board of directors for the Fund for Community Progress and the Housing Action Coalition of Rhode Island. She is an appointed member of the Scituate Affordable Housing Committee. In 2011, the Fund for Community Progress named her Board Member of the Year. In 2013, The Woonsocket Police Department named her Citizen of the Year. And in 2014, NeighborWorks America honored her with the National Award for Excellence in Community Building.
