Her extensive experience includes air permit compliance and reporting, PSD and Title V air permitting, environmental audits, landfill management, groundwater monitoring plans, integrated spill plans and pollution prevention plans, Virginia Pollution Abatement permits and storm water issues. Ms. Bonds worked as the environmental engineer at a paper mill where she was responsible for compliance and permitting issues, such as air permitting and emissions tracking; RACT compliance; Title V application development; EPCRA reporting; solid waste management and landfill issues; hazardous waste management; and SPCC, storm water pollution prevention, and oil discharge contingency plans. She has been assisting the same paper mill with its environmental issues on an adjunct basis since 2000. She was also project manager on a task to develop a comprehensive compliance monitoring tool (Shield®), ensuring compliance with their Title V permit conditions. Ms. Bonds has extensive experience with Integrated Contingency Plans, including spill prevention, emergency planning, storm water pollution prevention and secondary containment certifications. She has managed projects developing Integrated Contingency Plans, SPCC Plans and FRPs for a wide-range of facilities, including the US Navy, universities, municipalities and industrial sites. Ms. Bonds managed a large project for a large natural gas supplier that included reviewing applicable multi-media environmental requirements and existing training resources, developing over 60 new training modules and revising 16 existing modules in a very tight timeframe of less than four months.
