Lisa Cohen, MSW, LICSW - Chief Program Officer
In her over 25 years at JBBBS, Lisa has taken tremendous delight in overseeing the thousands of matches that have been created through JBBBS' Children's Program. She started her career with the agency in 1991 as a social worker, and was promoted to agency clinical director and Vice President of Programs before assuming her current position as Chief Program Officer. Lisa established JBBBS' School-Based Mentoring program and works directly with our college scholars. Prior to coming to JBBBS, Lisa was a program manager at New England Home for Little Wanderers, was established in private practice and led workshops as a parent educator. Additionally, she completed two years of postgraduate work in systems theory at the Family Institute of Cambridge. She is a graduate of Simmons College School of Social Work. Lisa is an alumni School-Based Big Sister and Friend 2 Friend volunteer. In her life outside of JBBBS, Lisa enjoys hiking and cooking and has a family of whom she is very proud.

She started her career with the agency in 1991 as a social worker, and was promoted to agency clinical director and Vice President of Programs before assuming her current position as Executive Vice President in 2016. Lisa established JBBBS' School-Based Mentoring program and works directly with our college scholars. With a wide range of clinical practice and systems experience in and outside the agency, Lisa was appointed Interim Co-CEO, joining Board Member, Eve Youngerman, in leading the agency while a search for a permanent President/CEO is underway. Prior to coming to JBBBS, Lisa was a program manager at New England Home for Little Wanderers, was established in private practice and led workshops as a parent educator. Additionally, she completed two years of postgraduate work in systems theory at the Family Institute of Cambridge. She is a graduate of Simmons College School of Social Work.
