Associate Professor Linda Sweet A/Prof Linda Sweet is a nurse and midwife with broad experience in many different clinical environments, management and research. Linda is currently the Head of Midwifery at Flinders University, and also the deputy editor of the international journal Women and Birth. 2006 Sweet, L Winner: prestigious Mary Paton biannual national Australian Breastfeeding Association award, for the best original breastfeeding research paper titled "Breastfeeding a preterm infant and the objectification of breastmilk"; 2005 Sweet, L PhD "Parents' experiences of breastfeeding a very low birth weight preterm infant from birth to twelve months of age" A/Prof Sweet's research interests include primary health care including sexual health and midwifery, and health professional teaching and learning.
