Barber contacted Linda Osborne the veterinarian at the Tri-County Small Animal Hospital and took Yoka to her for treatment.When Veterinarian Linda Osborne heard the story she decided to donate her services and performed two surgeries on Yoka.Osborne said the dog will probably always limp but that with the surgery she will at least be able to stand and move around. Dr. Osborne often treats ailing animals that owners choose to leave with her.She said she just hates to see them put to sleep.Anyone who would like to donate to that worthy cause or adopt one of the animals Dr. Osborne has taken in may call her at the Tri-County Small Animal Hospital at (865) 435-1374.

Dr. Linda Osborne, DVM
Dr. Osborne graduated with honors in 1982 with a bachelor's degree in cell biology from UTK. Three years later, she completed her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Tennessee where she was a member of the Phi Zeta, The Veterinary Honor Society. Dr. Linda Osborne has been practicing companion animal medicine and surgery for over 30 years. Her professional goal as a veterinarian is to provide compassionate and knowledgeable veterinary care for pet family members and the community. When she is not in the hospital, Dr. Osborne enjoys yoga, singing, playing the ukulele, and being active outdoors. She invites you to visit the hospital and meet our friendly and helpful support staff! Monkeyman: "The Boss" routinely fights with Dr. Osborne for the chair in front of her computer. Sometimes he wins, sometimes he loses, but he is always loved!
