Linda Macleod Linda Macleod - Partner Linda Macleod has more than 25 years' experience counseling business and employee clients on employment law issues. Her extensive experience also includes litigation of commercial, probate, trade secret and ADA cases. She developed particular expertise in trade secret cases involving employees who leave their former employers and start new business, having litigated these cases from the preliminary injunction stage through trial and on appeal. She has handled matters before the Labor Commissioner, the Employment Development Department, and the Personnel Board. Her ADA experience includes not only advising employers on their employees' disability issues, but representing businesses faced with claims that their premises violate accessibility laws under California's Unruh Act and the CDPA. Linda MacLeod obtained her undergraduate degree from Santa Clara University where she graduated magna cum laude and was Phi Beta Kappa. She obtained her J.D. in 1989 from University of California, Hastings College of the Law, where she won Moot Court writing award. Twelve years ago, she became the firm's first female partner. She is a member of the Santa Clara County Bar Association's Women's Lawyer Section-Executive Committee. She has volunteered on several boards and fundraised for the Foundation Fighting Blindness for many years.
