"These were probably guys she knew and guys she trusted," said Laura Bagnarol of Westchester County Victims Assistance Services."I'm sure the last thing in this girl's mind was that this could ever happen."Two 17-year-olds and a 14-year-old raped or sodomized the girl after she had passed out from drinking on the afternoon of June 13, police said.Bagnarol said the girl was lucky the young men accused of assaulting her were arrested."It's good that those girls found her," she said."Often you don't have witnesses.I think this is going on under the radar more often than we are even aware of."Alcohol can make anyone an easy target for a predator, said Bagnarol, who coordinates training for sexual assault nurse examiners."Alcohol is used very often to facilitate sexual assault," she said.
