Larry has over 29 years of line and bakery experience with a major cookie cracker manufacturing company. His experience includes managing and resolving production and sanitation problems, implementing technical training programs, developing annual cost saving programs and new product development. During his career he has had responsibility for sanitation and wastewater treatment, production line management, and training of personnel. His education includes studies at Middle Georgia College, University of Georgia and Georgia College. Larry joins USG as Vice President of Food Facility Services where he will be responsible for developing and managing USG's Food Facility Services Division. His expertise in designing and implementing food safety audit programs will be an asset in his new position. Larry is certified by Blassingame Services for Advanced Pest Control and by Stephenson Training Center in Food Processing. In addition, Larry has been trained through the American Institute of Baking for Food Plant Sanitation and Warehouse. He is licensed for Category 35 Industrial, Institute Structural and Health Related Pest Control. Larry is also trained and licensed by the Georgia Water & Pollution Control Association..
