Kristine Meade is a highly developed business leader with more than 20 years of experience in Human Resources (HR) strategy, business partnership, transformation, talent management, change management, communications, and organizational design and effectiveness. Kristine joined North American Partners in Anesthesia (NAPA) in March 2018 as Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer. In this role, she has expanded the HR function to align with the company’s exponential organic and transactional growth, including the May 2020 acquisition of American Anesthesiology (AA), a Mednax company, which more than doubled NAPA’s total employees during the Covid-19 pandemic. While clinicians pivoted to caring for critically ill patients, and operational employees worked remotely, Kristine launched OneNAPA, a massive integration initiative designed to onboard and welcome the AA employees and build cultural alignment. As this program continues, she is overseeing the introduction of new technologies to streamline a spectrum of HR functions. Among her many corporate innovations, NAPA’s marketing department is a function of HR, representing the synergy between HR, Recruitment, and Business Development pillars, and underscoring that NAPA defines itself as a “people company.” Prior to NAPA, for 16 years she served in HR leadership roles at Quest Diagnostics, the largest independent provider of clinical and esoteric laboratory services in the U.S. Kristine held several leadership roles during her tenure at Quest including the HR leader for their largest business line, HR service delivery, talent acquisition, leadership development, and workforce analytics. In addition, Kristine was involved in mergers and acquisitions as a part of the company’s growth strategy while there. Kristine was a member of the HR Leadership Team for Quest Diagnostics from September 2008 until joining NAPA. Before joining Quest Diagnostics, Kristine worked for five years as an Account Manager at Stromberg Consulting’s New York office, where her areas of expertise included Leadership Development and Strategy, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Training and Development, Change Management, Organization Design and Structure, Organization Effectiveness, Strategic Planning and Strategic Communications. Kristine received a Master of Arts in Industrial and Organizational Psychology and a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Columbia University in 1997.
