Dr. John Bellanti, PCC Dr. John Bellanti grew up as a first generation Italian in Easton, Pennsylvania, a small industrial town on the Delaware River.He has a B.A. from Hamline University, and in 1971 received his doctorate in Counselor Education.His dissertation was The Effects of an Encounter Group Experience on Empathy, Respect, Congruence, and Self-Actualization. John has been a professional educator, track coach, Asst.Dean of Students, counselor at the mental health center, and Associate Professor in Education at Penn State University.He is also a licensed psychologist, and life and executive coach.He is a member of the American Psychology Association, and is now a member of International Coaching Federation.He is awaiting approval of this Professional Coaching Certificate (PCC) and is a graduate of the Institute for Life Coach Training, where he is a faculty member. John describes himself as a learning junkie and is enrolled in a yearlong program with, 'COACHING AND MENTORING INTERNATIONAL from the United Kingdom.John is passionate about life coaching and believes it will revolutionalize the ways we partner with mentally healthy individuals and groups.He is a charter member of Coaches United, a group of coaches who graduated from ILCT who support one another, encourage high levels of certification, and work together to enhance our personal and professional development.
