Jenna Jablonski joined NARP in January 2014 as the Coordinator of Outreach, Marketing, and Communications.
Jenna looks forward to flexing her creativity and broadening her experience in nonprofit marketing while working to engage NARP's audiences in new ways. Before joining NARP, Jenna volunteered as the Social Media and Communications Coordinator at the community development nonprofit Abriendo Mentes in Potrero, Costa Rica, where she gained many of the outreach skills she utilizes in her position today. A native of Lakewood, NY, Jenna graduated magna cum laude from Ithaca College in May 2013 with a bachelor's degree in Integrated Marketing Communications and a minor in Spanish. She participated in the Park Scholar program, a four-year scholarship program based on academics, community service, and a commitment to communications. On campus, Jenna served on the executive board of several student organizations and participated in Clinton Global Initiative University. Jenna was particularly enriched by her experiences off campus, including two months volunteering in community health in Uganda, a semester studying abroad in Bolivia, and a semester studying and interning in Washington, DC with the Cornell in Washington program. Jenna is excited to work towards changing the perception of rail travel in the United States and to promote the benefits of passenger rail for individuals, communities, and the environment.
