Jay Jordan

Jay Jordan has practiced law on the Mississippi Gulf Coast since graduating from the University of Mississippi in 1999. He was admitted to the Mississippi bar in 1999 and is licensed to practice in various state and federal courts in Mississippi, including the United States District Court (Southern and Northern Divisions), the Mississippi Supreme C... ourt, the Mississippi Court of Appeals, as well as the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. Our attorneys also serve as title agents for the Chicago Title Insurance Company, First American Title Insurance Company and The Security Guarantee Title Insurance Corporation of Baltimore and handle both simple and complex real estate and commercial transactions as agents for said companies. Born in Starkville, Mississippi, in 1973, Jay graduated from Starkville Academy in 1991 and then attended Mississippi State University (MSU) where he received a Bachelor of Accounting degree and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 1996. While at MSU, Jay was a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity and graduated summa cum laude. Following graduation from MSU, Jay received his Juris doctorate degree from the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) in 1999 and was a John Grisham scholarship recipient. Jay is a member of the Harrison County Bar Association, Mississippi, Bar Association and the Real Estate Section of the Mississippi bar. He is also a member of the Harrison County Young Lawyers Association. Jay is active in the Biloxi community, currently serving as the board attorney for the Homebuilders Association of the Mississippi Coast and is a member of numerous committees with the Gulf Coast Association of Realtors. He has served as past attorney and volunteer legal counselor for the Mental Health Association of South Mississippi, Mississippi, Association of Realtors and is active in various committees and charitable organizations. Jay resides in Biloxi with his two daughters, Lily and Anna Claire Jordan, and is an active member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.Read More
